Warranty

All Como Audio products, purchased from us directly*, are backed by a Two Year Limited Parts and Labor Warranty.

To the original purchaser of a Como Audio system, Como Audio warrants the products to be free of defects in material and workmanship for a period of two (2) years from date of purchase.

To obtain a warranty repair, a Return Authorization must be obtained from Como Audio. With respect to defects, Como Audio will, at its option, repair any defect in the product or replace the product at no charge to the original purchaser for parts or labor. If Como Audio elects to replace a system, the replacement system will be equivalent to the condition of the Como Audio product as received by Como Audio for service. Como Audio will not replace any system without first receiving the original system returned to our office. The repair of a Como Audio system by an independent service agency is not supported.

*This Como Audio warranty applies only to the original purchaser of the Como Audio product if the Como Audio system was purchased from an authorized Como Audio sales channel, meaning a purchase made from comoaudio.com or Como Audio’s official Amazon store (it must say “Sold by Como Audio” on your invoice). Any product bought secondhand from eBay, Facebook Marketplace, unauthorized Amazon stores, or any other re-seller is not eligible for warranty service. In the case of a secondhand product needing service, please contact the original seller at your point of purchase.

The only acceptable method of establishing warranty status is a copy of the original proof of purchase from an authorized Como Audio retailer, including the Como Audio product name, the customer’s name, order number and the purchase date. The serial number, located on the back of any Como Audio product, may also be required. The warranty period starts from the date on the proof of purchase of the Como Audio product.

This warranty does not extend to any defect, malfunction, physical damage or failure caused by misuses, abuse, accident, improper storage, exposure to the elements, faulty hookup, improper electrical source, defective associated equipment or use of the system with equipment for which it is not intended.

To obtain service on a Como Audio product: The owner of the Como Audio product should first contact the Como Audio retailer that sold the Como Audio product to inquire about warranty service. If the retailer does not provide service for Como Audio products, please contact Como Audio directly at support@comoaudio.com to obtain a Return Authorization. Como Audio reserves the right to refuse or return any products delivered to Como Audio without prior written authorization from Como Audio. Do not send a Como Audio product to Como Audio prior to obtaining a Return Authorization. A Return Authorization from Como Audio does not include the cost of shipping the Como Audio product to Como Audio. We recommend returning the unit via USPS or UPS Ground.

The Return Authorization number should be included inside the carton. The Return Authorization number should also be marked on the return shipping label on the outside of the carton.

Shipping carton and cushions: This 2-year limited warranty does not cover the cost of a replacement shipping carton and set of cushions. A replacement shipping carton and cushion set can be purchased from Como Audio if you no longer have the original carton and cushions. The genuine Como Audio cartons and packing for your specific Como Audio model must be used to ship your unit to Como Audio. Como Audio urges you to keep your system’s shipping carton and all the packing. Below is a list of everything that must be included when shipping a unit to Como Audio, and the fees that will incur if the items are missing.

Outer box, Shipping carton, and cushions: $20
Power cord: $10
Remote: $10
Manual & Knob Covers: $5
Battery (for Amico only): $30 

Shipment to Como Audio: The Como Audio product owner is responsible for shipping charges to Como Audio using the shipping method of their choice. The Como Audio system should be shipped to the Como Audio address provided in the Return Authorization. Como Audio is not responsible for physical damage sustained by a product in shipment back to Como Audio, regardless of the nature of the Return Authorization. Como Audio suggests using a shipper that provides you a tracking number (USPS or UPS Ground recommended).

Furthermore, any units returned to Como Audio must be packed inside an outer shipping box. Do not attach the shipping label directly to the black shipping carton. Any return that arrives with damages to the shipping carton may be refused or incur a $20 packaging fee. 

Once the repair has been performed, Como Audio will then ship the unit back to the customer with no charge for shipping. Como Audio will only ship once the repair has been performed, and within the Continental USA only. 

For a Como Audio system owner outside the United States of America: A Como Audio system owner outside the United States of America should contact the Como retailer in the country where they purchased the Como system to inquire about warranty service. You may then be referred to the authorized Como Audio distributor in that country. A unit purchased within the USA and then brought to another country must be returned to the USA for service. 

This is the sole and express warranty. This warranty is in lieu of all other warranties, expressed or implied, of merchant-ability, fitness for purpose or otherwise. In no event shall Como Audio Inc. be liable for incidental or consequential damages or have any liability with respect to defects other than the obligations set forth as stated. Except as provided herein, Como Audio Inc. shall have no liability or responsibility to the purchaser or any other person or entity with respect to any liability, loss or damage caused directly or indirectly by use of the product, including, but not limited to, any incidental or consequential damages.

Return and Exchanges

Our Policy

You may return products that are complete and like new for any reason within 60 days. Please note: our 60 day return policy only applies to Como Audio products that were purchased directly from www.comoaudio.com. Some other exclusions may apply (see Important Details below).


How to Make a Return/Exchange

1. Get a Return Authorization

Please email us at info@comoaudio.com for a Return Authorization number and your return/exchange shipping instructions. In your email, please include your reason for wanting to exchange/return so we can assist you in the best way possible.

2. Pack your items carefully

To avoid any deductions from the refund, all returns must be in new condition and must include the original packing material, shipping carton, any and all accessories which may include power cords, remote control, connecting cables, and instruction manuals. Below is a list of everything that must be included when shipping a unit to Como Audio, and the fees that will incur if the items are missing.

3. Attach Shipping Label

The Como Audio product owner is responsible for shipping charges to Como Audio using the shipping method of their choice. Important Details

Refund/Exchange Options

You may choose an exchange or a refund for the full amount of the items you purchased.  Please note there will be a $15 flat return restocking fee which will be deducted from your refund.

Refund Method

Refunds will generally appear within 1 to 2 billing statements.  Refunds must be issued on the same credit card, debit card, or other form of payment used in the original transaction. Products returned without an authorization and Return Authorization Number will be refused.

Items must be new

Como Audio may refuse customer return or charge a packaging fee when the return item is not “like-new” condition and/or properly packaged.  Other conditions that may result in a refusal or restocking fee include, but are not limited to:

– A different serial number than the one Como Audio originally shipped.- Missing parts or the original product packaging material.
– Damage because it was improperly packaged for return shipment.- Damage from drops, spilled liquid, or mishandling. 

How will I know if you’ve received my return?

We will email you confirming that the return was processed.

How long does it take Como Audio to process my return?

After your product is received, we normally process your exchange or refund within two business days.

International Shipping

You are responsible for any international shipping charges or duties. All international returns will be shipped back to our distribution center in the Netherlands (unless purchased in the USA). All international exchanges will be shipped from our Netherlands distribution center.
